What am I looking at here?
The same hotel, the same nights, every site that sells it: StayScope keeps 918,500 price observations for 10,557 hotels in 54 cities from 538 booking sites, and puts them next to each other so the gap between sites is visible before you book.
Do booking sites really charge different prices for the same hotel?
On 17 September 2026, across 11,679 stays quoted by two or more sites, the dearest site asked 19% more than the cheapest in the typical case, and 36% more in one stay out of ten.
Which city is the cheapest right now?
Of the 20 cities with prices today, London has the lowest typical night: a median of $83 over its hotels, and rooms from $33. Paris is the dearest, at a median of $238.
What is today's biggest price drop?
Hotel Oro Blu in Milan: Booking.com now asks $349 for 9–11 October 2026, 56% under what it quoted for the same stay over the previous days. 4,129 stays fell by 5% or more on 17 September 2026.
When were these prices last checked?
The figures on this page come from the collection run of 17 September 2026; the most recent check of any hotel was on 17 September 2026. A price is what the site quoted at that moment, and it can move before you get there — the seller's page has the final say.
Where do I actually book?
StayScope does not sell rooms. Every price links to the site that quoted it — a booking site or the hotel's own — and the booking happens there, at that site's terms.
